Die Mitglieder des Lehrstuhls beschäftigen sich in der Forschung mit der empirischen Analyse politik- und praxisrelevanter Fragestellungen, schwerpunktmäßig aus dem Bereich der Gesundheitsökonomik. Dabei stehen vor allem Fragen zur Krankenversicherung sowie zu veränderbaren Determinanten von Gesundheit im Mittelpunkt.
